May 3, 2009: David Hasselhoff was taken to Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center by his ex-wife after suffering from alcohol poisoning, celebrity Web site RadarOnline.com reports.
His daughter Hayley, 16, found him unconscious Saturday on the floor of his home in Encino, Calif., and called her mother, Pamela Bach, from whom Hasselhoff was bitterly divorced in 2006. Bach, who lives just 10 minutes away in Hollywood Hills, rushed over to drive him to the hospital where doctors saved his life.
The "America's Got Talent" judge registered a very high 0.39 blood-alcohol level. A source told RadarOnline that Hayley kept "slapping her dad's face" to keep him alive. "He was barely breathing when they got him at the hospital."
Hasselhoff, 56, has had a history of alcohol problems, which included a home video that was made public in 2007 in which he was drunk and lying on the floor, eating a hamburger, while his daughter Taylor, 18, begged him to get help.

Hasselhoff denies reports of alcohol poisoning
David Hasselhoff is denying reports that said he was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital Saturday after suffering alcohol poisoning.
"Mr. Hasselhoff was at no time in the condition described in those stories," his lawyers, Melvin Goldsman and Marci Levine, told Usmagazine.com in a statement Monday.
"Mr. Hasselhoff spoke to his attorneys on Sunday and was absolutely fine."
The "America's Got Talent" judge allegedly had a 0.39 blood alcohol level and was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after his daughter Hayley, 16, found him unconscious on the floor of his home in Encino, Calif., RadarOnline.com first reported on Sunday.
"Mr. Hasselhoff is both disturbed and saddened by the fact that a certain individual is disseminating grossly inaccurate stories about him to the press for ulterior motives," his lawyers told Us, but did not name anyone.
According to People magazine, though, a source close to Hasselhoff did confirm the actor was hospitalized over the weekend after drinking.
"David became ill Saturday night but he was never unconscious, he never passed out," the source says.
"He went on his own power to his car and went to Cedars. They checked him out and released him in the morning."
